Anthemis Group
Anthemis Group is a London-based venture capital and asset management firm founded in 2010 by Amy Nauiokas (Group CEO) and Sean Park (Group CIO), both former capital-markets executives. Anthemis invests to "architect the digital economy," concentrating on financial technology and its adjacencies: embedded finance, payments and banking infrastructure, insurtech, wealthtech, crypto and digital assets, climate and agtech finance, and applied AI for financial services. The firm invests primarily at pre-seed, seed, Series A and early Series B, writing checks generally in the ~$2M-$3M range, and pairs venture investing with an advisory and platform practice aimed at systematically transforming financial services. Anthemis is headquartered in London with additional presence in New York, Geneva, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Dallas, manages roughly $500M in assets, and has backed 300+ companies including Betterment, eToro, Carta, Pipe, TrueLayer, Tide, Currencycloud, Atom Bank and The Climate Corporation.

Cohort brief
Auto-generatedThe 150 portfolio companies with APIs in the catalog, backed by Anthemis Group, scored on the Kin Score. Every figure below is computed from the catalog — nothing here is written.
| Facet | This cohort | Catalog | Difference | Scored |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Access Clarity | 22.7 | 22.3 | +0.4 | 150 |
| Contract Governance | 5 | 6.4 | -1.4 | 150 |
| Developer Ergonomics | 15.4 | 17.9 | -2.5 | 150 |
| Discoverability | 57.5 | 60.4 | -2.9 | 150 |
| Operational Transparency | 6.3 | 11.3 | -5 | 150 |
| Contract Quality | 10.5 | 17.5 | -7 | 150 |
A facet is averaged over the members that carry it, not over the whole cohort — the “Scored” column is that count. Averaging an absent facet as zero would score our own coverage gaps as the providers’ posture.

| MCP server (first-party) | 6% | 7% | -1 |

mcp_pct counts any mcp/ artifact including ones API Evangelist derived from the provider OpenAPI; mcp_first_party_pct counts only servers the provider publishes. Prefer the latter.
