Support

APIs.io is an open, community-driven API search network maintained by a small team. Whether you want to get your API indexed or you have a question about how the network works, here is how to get involved and get help.

Add an API

The fastest way in is the Add an API form — paste a URL and we discover what you publish, drafting an APIs.json from your OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, GraphQL, llms.txt, MCP manifest, and docs.

You do not need to publish an APIs.json first, though publishing one helps. See apisjson.org for the specification.

If you would rather ask a human, open an Add an API issue instead.

Fix, Rescore, or Remove Your Listing

We build every profile from what you publish, and score it with the Kin Score. When we get something wrong, or when you have published something new that we have not picked up, tell us in the APIs.io Inbox:

If your API is already listed, your own provider repo is the better place. Every listed provider has one under github.com/api-evangelist — open an issue there for anything specific to your profile and it stays with your listing.

Point us at machine-readable sources rather than describing them. A URL to an OpenAPI, an llms.txt, or a reachable MCP endpoint is worth more than a paragraph, because it is what the pipeline actually reads. Listing, correcting, and rescoring are free, and we will not adjust a score without a published source behind it.
