Support
APIs.io is an open, community-driven API search network maintained by a small team. Whether you want to get your API indexed or you have a question about how the network works, here is how to get involved and get help.
Add an API
The catalog grows from machine-readable APIs.json files published by API providers. To get your API indexed:
- Publish an APIs.json file describing your API — its OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, or GraphQL specs, documentation, pricing, and other resources. See apisjson.org for the specification.
- Submit it using the Add an API form, which opens a pre-filled GitHub issue with your APIs.json URL on the api-search/network repo. You’ll need a GitHub account.
Once submitted, we review the APIs.json and pull it into the build pipeline, where it’s profiled and published across the network’s subdomain sites.
Get Support
Support for APIs.io is handled through two channels:
- Email — reach the team directly at info@apis.io for questions, corrections, or anything that doesn’t fit a public thread.
- GitHub Discussions — ask questions, share ideas, and follow what’s happening in the open at github.com/api-search/network/discussions. For bugs or specific catalog issues, open an issue.
Thank you for getting involved and helping make the world of APIs more discoverable in a way that benefits everyone.
