Webull

Webull is a commission-free online brokerage whose Webull OpenAPI platform gives quantitative and algorithmic traders programmatic access to trading and market data across US and Hong Kong regions. It exposes four API products — a Trading API (place/preview/replace/cancel orders for stocks, options, futures, crypto, and event contracts, including combo OTO/OCO/OTOCO and TWAP/VWAP/POV algo orders), a Market Data API (real-time and historical snapshots, ticks, quotes/depth, footprint and OHLCV bars), a Broker API (enterprise account opening, funding, and cash journals), and a Connect API (OAuth 2.0 third-party authorization). Requests are authenticated with an App Key / App Secret pair and HMAC-SHA1 request signing, with real-time streaming over gRPC (trading events) and MQTT (market data). Webull ships official Python and Java SDKs, a Go CLI, a published MCP server, and an Agent Skill.

Webull publishes 3 APIs on the APIs.io network. Tagged areas include Company, Technology, Financial-Services, Brokerage, and Trading.

The Webull catalog on APIs.io includes 1 event-driven AsyncAPI specification.

Webull’s developer surface includes documentation, API reference, getting-started guide, changelog, authentication, CLI, sandbox, and 17 more developer resources.

Regulatory Posture applies to this provider. Its tags matched the Securities & Market Data regime, so Regulatory Posture carries 15 points of the composite. If this regime is wrong for your business, say so on your provider repo — the applicability map is public and we will correct it.
The six quality facets above are damped to 85 points between them, because the conditional facet above carries the other 15. That is why each facet's contribution is shown against a damped maximum: raising a quality facet moves the composite by 85% of its nominal weight, not 100%. The full arithmetic is at apis.io/rating/.
Improve this rating by publishing the missing artifacts — every area above can be raised, and the full rubric is at apis.io/rating/.
