Urbint

Urbint builds AI-powered operational resilience software for gas, electric and telecom utilities, predicting and preventing incidents before they happen across three product lines: Worker Safety, Damage Prevention (including a modern 811 locate-ticket management system), and Emergency Preparedness & Response / storm response. Its "Model of the World" fuses weather, topography, environmental, community and infrastructure data with a customer's own work, asset and outage data to score the risk on individual jobs and locate tickets. Urbint raised venture funding from Energy Impact Partners, Piva Capital, Energize Ventures, Blue Bear Capital, National Grid Partners, Fifth Wall, Salesforce Ventures and S2G, acquired Opvantek, WRM Software, Competers and iRestore, and was itself acquired by Itron for $325M in a deal announced 6 October 2025. Urbint ships no public API program; its only public developer surface is a first-party npm design system, @urbint/cl, which bundles a local-stdio MCP server.

Urbint is profiled on the APIs.io network. Tagged areas include Company, Utilities, Energy, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.

Urbint’s developer surface includes support and 13 more developer resources.

scored 2026-09-02 · rubric v0.18.0
Regulatory Posture applies to this provider. Its tags matched the Energy & Utilities regime, so Regulatory Posture carries 15 points of the composite. If this regime is wrong for your business, say so on your provider repo — the applicability map is public and we will correct it.
The six quality facets above are damped to 85 points between them, because the conditional facet above carries the other 15. That is why each facet's contribution is shown against a damped maximum: raising a quality facet moves the composite by 85% of its nominal weight, not 100%. The full arithmetic is at apis.io/rating/.
Improve this rating by publishing the missing artifacts — every area above can be raised, and the full rubric is at apis.io/rating/. Every facet and dimension name above is a link: it opens that measurement's own page — what it means, the exact checks that feed it, how the whole catalog distributes on it, and the providers at the top of it. This rating is computed from github.com/api-evangelist/urbint: open an issue to ask a question, or submit a pull request to add artifacts.
