Hopper

Hopper Inc. is a Montreal-based online travel agency and B2B travel fintech company, founded in 2007 by Frederic Lalonde, Joost Ouwerkerk, and Dakota Smith. Its consumer mobile app pairs flight, hotel, car, and homes booking with proprietary price prediction, and monetizes a family of "for any reason" fintech ancillaries — Price Freeze, Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR), Change For Any Reason, and Disruption Guarantee. Through Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS), the company licenses those same ancillaries, agentic AI customer servicing (HTS Assist), white-label travel commerce (HTS Stays, HTS Cars, HTS Packages), and loyalty portals to airlines, banks, and travel providers including Capital One, Air Canada, Wizz Air, Porter, Avelo, and RBC. Hopper has raised more than $740 million from investors including Goldman Sachs, Brookfield, Citigroup, and Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec, and its shares trade on secondary marketplaces such as Forge Global and EquityZen ahead of a possible public listing.

Hopper is profiled on the APIs.io network. Tagged areas include Company, Travel, Online Travel Agency, Travel Fintech, and Price Prediction.

x-duplicate-note: 'This repo was created from the secondary-market harvest backlog against the Forge Global private-stock
listing for "Hopper". Verified during the 2026-08-01 enrichment pass: that listing is Hopper Inc., the Montreal travel app
and HTS parent — the SAME company already profiled at all/hopper-com (5 harvested HTS Airline API OpenAPIs, authentication,
agentic-access, domain-security, blogs, screenshots) and again at all/hopper-travel (plans, rate-limits, finops, blogs).
No parallel artifact tree was generated here on purpose: a third profile would split one company across three apis.io pages
and three Kin Scores. Per the duplicate-provider-retirement procedure, the survivor by depth is hopper-com; this slug should
be merged into it and tombstoned in api-search/network/_data/retired.yml rather than enriched.'

  note: STEP 0b contract discovery run against hts.hopper.com, www.hopper.com, hopper.com, airlines-api.hopper.com, api.hopper.com,
    and developer.hopper.com. Every /.well-known/* path (agent-card.json, agent.json, security.txt, openid-configuration,
    oauth-authorization-server, oauth-protected-resource, api-catalog, ai-plugin.json), /llms.txt, and every spec path (/openapi.json,
    /openapi.yaml, /swagger.json, /api-docs) MISSED. www.hopper.com and hts.hopper.com are single-page-app catch-alls that
answer HTTP 200 with an HTML shell for ANY path — a nonsense control path returns a byte-identical body — so those 200s
were correctly rejected as false positives per the pipeline contract. airlines-api.hopper.com returns 404 at root and
at /openapi.json. No agent card, no llms.txt, no security.txt, and no self-hosted machine-readable contract exists on
    any Hopper host.
