Cigna GraphQL Schema

This document describes a conceptual GraphQL schema for Cigna Healthcare, one of the largest global health services companies. Cigna's Developer Portal exposes CMS-mandated FHIR APIs for Patient Access, Provider Directory, Drug Formulary, and Provider Access. This GraphQL schema unifies those capabilities into a single queryable graph covering member management, insurance plans, claims, provider directories, pharmacy benefits, authorizations, and supporting clinical and administrative data.

Overview

Cigna GraphQL Schema is a GraphQL API specification published by Cigna on the APIs.io network.

This document describes a conceptual GraphQL schema for Cigna Healthcare, one of the largest global health services companies. Cigna’s Developer Portal exposes CMS-mandated FHIR APIs for Patient Access, Provider Directory, Drug Formulary, and Provider Access. This GraphQL schema unifies those capabilities into a single queryable graph covering member management, insurance plans, claims, provider directories, pharmacy benefits, authorizations, and supporting clinical and administrative data.
