RESO Universal Property Identifier (UPI)

The RESO Universal Property Identifier is a URN-based scheme for identifying a piece of real property unambiguously across systems, jurisdictions and data providers. Version 2.0 encodes country, jurisdiction and the local parcel or assessor identifier into a single resolvable string, giving American real estate the shared property key it otherwise lacks. Both “Universal Property Identifier” and “Universal Parcel Identifier” appear in circulation for the same acronym.

Providers that carry RESO UPI 20

These providers' own APIs.json profiles carry RESO UPI as a tag — the provider's statement that the standard is part of what it does. APIs.io has not verified the implementation on this page; the de facto profiles on this site are where that measurement exists. Ordered by Kin Score.

Read from the API Evangelist standards directory, facts verified 2026-08-17. Provider links come from the catalog's own identity tags and are rebuilt nightly. If this page is wrong about a standard or a provider, say so.
