LendingClub

LendingClub is a US consumer-finance company and digital bank, originally founded in 2006 as a peer-to-peer marketplace lender and later a national bank holding company after its 2021 acquisition of Radius Bancorp. In 2026 the company rebranded as Happen Bank, N.A. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Happen, Inc.) and moved its public web presence from lendingclub.com to happen.com, where it offers personal loans, auto refinancing, business loans, LevelUp checking and savings accounts, the DebtIQ credit dashboard, and an institutional investing program for marketplace-lending loan buyers. LendingClub historically published a public Investor API for its retail notes marketplace; that marketplace was retired in December 2020 and the developer portal and API documentation are no longer published. As of this enrichment pass the company operates no public developer program, API reference, or SDK surface, and no OpenAPI or event specifications are available to harvest.

LendingClub is profiled on the APIs.io network. Tagged areas include Company, Financial-Services, Banking, Lending, and Consumer Finance.

LendingClub’s developer surface includes support, engineering blog, and 11 more developer resources.

Regulatory Posture applies to this provider. Its tags matched the Banking & Open Finance regime, so Regulatory Posture carries 15 points of the composite. If this regime is wrong for your business, say so on your provider repo — the applicability map is public and we will correct it.
The six quality facets above are damped to 85 points between them, because the conditional facet above carries the other 15. That is why each facet's contribution is shown against a damped maximum: raising a quality facet moves the composite by 85% of its nominal weight, not 100%. The full arithmetic is at apis.io/rating/.
Improve this rating by publishing the missing artifacts — every area above can be raised, and the full rubric is at apis.io/rating/.
