Koloma

Koloma is a Denver, Colorado based natural (geologic) hydrogen exploration and production company founded in 2021 by Pete Johnson and Tom Darrah, PhD, with a research laboratory in Columbus, Ohio. The company applies subsurface geoscience, proprietary data and data-driven exploration methods — airborne geophysics, passive acoustic and magnetotelluric surveys, and lab characterization of rock, liquid and gas samples — to locate and produce naturally occurring hydrogen generated by serpentinization deep within the Earth. Koloma operates in the United States and internationally, including Koloma Australia and exploration operations in the Philippines, and is backed by Amazon Climate Pledge Fund, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and United Airlines. Koloma publishes no public developer platform, API documentation or SDKs; its only machine-readable agent surface found in this pass is a Wix-platform Model Context Protocol endpoint plus an llms.txt served from the Koloma California regional site.

Koloma publishes 1 API on the APIs.io network. Tagged areas include Company, Energy, Clean Energy, Hydrogen, and Natural Hydrogen.

Koloma’s developer surface includes engineering blog, support, authentication, and 13 more developer resources.

Regulatory Posture applies to this provider. Its tags matched the Energy & Utilities regime, so Regulatory Posture carries 15 points of the composite. If this regime is wrong for your business, say so on your provider repo — the applicability map is public and we will correct it.
The six quality facets above are damped to 85 points between them, because the conditional facet above carries the other 15. That is why each facet's contribution is shown against a damped maximum: raising a quality facet moves the composite by 85% of its nominal weight, not 100%. The full arithmetic is at apis.io/rating/.
Improve this rating by publishing the missing artifacts — every area above can be raised, and the full rubric is at apis.io/rating/. This rating is computed from github.com/api-evangelist/koloma: open an issue to ask a question, or submit a pull request to add artifacts. Want it done for you? Prioritized profiling — $2,500 →
