AccelerComm

AccelerComm Limited is a British semiconductor and wireless physical-layer IP company headquartered at Southampton Science Park, spun out of the University of Southampton in 2016 by Professor Rob Maunder. It designs and licenses channel-coding (forward error correction) intellectual property — LDPC and Polar encoders/decoders, CRC acceleration, rate matching, soft-decision demodulation, channel estimation and equalisation — delivered as RTL/FPGA IP cores, optimised software libraries and hardware-acceleration architectures for 5G NR and 4G LTE baseband. Its LEOphy product is a complete Split-6 RU High-PHY layer 1 modem for low-earth-orbit 5G Non-Terrestrial Network satellite payloads, and the company was selected for the Airbus UpNext SpaceRAN software-defined-satellite demonstrator. AccelerComm raised £21.5m in growth funding, counts IP Group among its investors, and holds more than 56 granted international patents. Its products are integrated by silicon and RAN vendors over hardware interfaces such as AXI rather than over the network: AccelerComm publishes no public API, developer portal, SDK or machine-readable contract, and its GitHub organisation carries no public repositories. The one machine-readable document it does serve is an /llms.txt at the root of its marketing site.

AccelerComm is profiled on the APIs.io network. Tagged areas include Company, Semiconductors, Semiconductor IP, Telecommunications, and Wireless.

AccelerComm’s developer surface includes engineering blog and 7 more developer resources.

Regulatory Posture applies to this provider. Its tags matched the Telecommunications regime, so Regulatory Posture carries 15 points of the composite. If this regime is wrong for your business, say so on your provider repo — the applicability map is public and we will correct it.
The six quality facets above are damped to 85 points between them, because the conditional facet above carries the other 15. That is why each facet's contribution is shown against a damped maximum: raising a quality facet moves the composite by 85% of its nominal weight, not 100%. The full arithmetic is at apis.io/rating/.
Improve this rating by publishing the missing artifacts — every area above can be raised, and the full rubric is at apis.io/rating/. Every facet and dimension name above is a link: it opens that measurement's own page — what it means, the exact checks that feed it, how the whole catalog distributes on it, and the providers at the top of it. This rating is computed from github.com/api-evangelist/accelercomm: open an issue to ask a question, or submit a pull request to add artifacts. detail: AccelerComm licenses 5G physical-layer silicon IP — LDPC/Polar channel-coding cores and the LEOphy NTN High-PHY
modem — which customers integrate over AXI hardware interfaces rather than over a network, and the company's own /llms.txt
enumerates its entire site (solutions, markets, insights, resources, about-us, careers, contact) with no developer, API
or docs entry; api./docs./developer.accelercomm.com do not resolve, its GitHub organisation carries zero public repositories,
and no package exists on npm, PyPI, RubyGems or crates.io. Every HTML page on www.accelercomm.com sits behind a Cloudflare
managed challenge, so the finding rests on the machine-readable and third-party surfaces listed below rather than on the
    marketing pages.
