Wing Cloud
Wing Cloud is the company behind Wing (Winglang), an open-source, cloud-oriented programming language created by Elad Ben-Israel, the creator of AWS CDK. Wing unifies infrastructure and application code into a single model: a "preflight" phase compiles to Terraform/CloudFormation while an "inflight" phase compiles to JavaScript for runtime. Developers build and test distributed cloud systems locally with the Wing Simulator and Wing Console, then deploy to any major cloud provider. The project is MIT-licensed, ships the `wing` CLI (npm: winglang) and the standalone Wing SDK (@winglang/sdk, Apache-2.0), and the company is backed by Battery Ventures. Wing is a language and developer-tooling company; it does not publish a public REST/HTTP API.
Wing Cloud is profiled on the APIs.io network. Tagged areas include Company, Programming Language, Cloud Development, Infrastructure as Code, and Developer Tools.
Wing Cloud’s developer surface includes documentation, getting-started guide, sandbox, support, CLI, and 8 more developer resources.
