TAE Technologies (formerly Tri Alpha Energy) is a Foothill Ranch, California fusion energy company founded in 1998, pursuing commercial fusion power using aneutronic hydrogen-boron (p-B11) fuel in an advanced beam-driven field-reversed configuration (FRC). Because the p-B11 reaction is aneutronic, TAE's approach produces virtually no neutron flux or on-site radioactive waste compared with conventional deuterium-tritium concepts. Two operating subsidiaries commercialize spin-off technology: TAE Life Sciences develops accelerator-based Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) systems for cancer treatment, and TAE Power Solutions builds modular, software-controlled power-management systems for e-mobility and battery applications. TAE is a private hardware and deep-science company; it does not publish a developer API, SDK, OpenAPI specification, or public open-source code repository.
