Product Backlog Items
Product backlog items (PBIs) are the individual units of work that make up a product backlog, representing features, enhancements, bug fixes, and technical tasks in Agile and Scrum methodologies. Each PBI typically includes a description, acceptance criteria, priority, and an estimate of effort. PBIs are continuously refined through grooming and refinement sessions, and the highest-priority items are pulled into sprints by development teams to be implemented and delivered as increments of working software.
Product Backlog Items is profiled on the APIs.io network. Tagged areas include Agile, Product Management, Project Management, Scrum, and Requirements Management.
