Kitch

Kitch was a Lisbon, Portugal based restaurant technology company founded in 2019 by Rui Bento and Nuno Rodrigues, both former Uber executives for southern Europe. After starting as a delivery-first "dark kitchen" operator, Kitch pivoted during the 2020 pandemic into a SaaS platform that let restaurants consolidate and manage digital orders arriving from multiple third-party delivery marketplaces — Glovo, Uber Eats, Bolt Food and Just Eat among them — on a single tablet, alongside their own direct-ordering storefront, so operators could keep control of their menus, pricing and customer identity instead of depending on the aggregator apps. Kitch raised roughly EUR 1 million in pre-seed funding led by Seedcamp and Mustard Seed MAZE, followed by a EUR 3.25 million seed round led by Atlantic Food Labs. The company was acquired by Barcelona-based delivery platform Glovo in a deal signed in January 2022 and announced in March 2022, and the standalone Kitch brand has since been retired. Kitch never published a public developer program: no developer portal, API reference, OpenAPI definition, SDK, or status page was ever published on kitch.io, and none appears in the Internet Archive's record of the domain. The kitch.io domain registration has since lapsed and now resolves to an unrelated third-party gambling site, so no live link is carried in this profile.

Kitch is profiled on the APIs.io network. Tagged areas include Company, Restaurant, Food Delivery, Order Management, and Point-of-Sale.

Create-or-Update Ergonomics could not be measured. We hold no machine-readable contract for this provider to read, so there is nothing to measure a write surface against. Excluded rather than scored zero: never-measured and measured-empty are different facts. Publishing an OpenAPI is what makes this facet — and several others — scorable at all.
Improve this rating by publishing the missing artifacts — every area above can be raised, and the full rubric is at apis.io/rating/. Every facet and dimension name above is a link: it opens that measurement's own page — what it means, the exact checks that feed it, how the whole catalog distributes on it, and the providers at the top of it. This rating is computed from github.com/api-evangelist/kitch: open an issue to ask a question, or submit a pull request to add artifacts. x-domain-status: 'lapsed — kitch.io no longer belongs to the company. As of 2026-07-19 it returns HTTP 301 to an unrelated
gambling domain (1-win.in.net). The former website, pricing and legal pages are only available via the Internet Archive.
Do NOT probe, link, or harvest this domain: any TLS/DNS/security posture or content observed there belongs to the current

x-enrichment: 'Enrichment pass 2026-07-19 found no live provider surface and therefore added no artifacts. Searched: kitch.io

pricing and legal pages were ever captured — no docs, reference, spec, or status page), APITracker, Crunchbase, and GitHub
for a Kitch organization. There is no OpenAPI to ground overlays, error catalogs, data models, scopes, authentication profiles,
conventions, agentic-access or Agent Skills in, and no registry packages, MCP server, well-known documents, sandbox, changelog,
CLI or event surface exist. Nothing further can be produced without fabrication.'
