Doelz Networks

Doelz Networks Inc. was a data communications networking company headquartered at 9501 Jeronimo Road, Irvine, California. It developed data communication networks designed to be independent of media, speed, attached devices, or protocols, applied across both local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), with additional locations in Columbia, Maryland and New Jersey. The company raised roughly $16.9 million from investors including Battery Ventures, Accel, J.H. Whitney, Citi Venture Capital International and Brentwood, and was bought out by its management together with a group of European investors in 1988. The company has since been acquired and is no longer operating: enrichment probes in July 2026 found no live corporate domain, no developer portal, no documentation, and no API surface of any kind. This profile is retained as a historical record of a venture-backed networking vendor and is not expected to yield API artifacts.

Doelz Networks is profiled on the APIs.io network. Tagged areas include Company, Networking, Data Communications, Telecommunications, and LAN.

Regulatory Posture applies to this provider. Its tags matched the Telecommunications regime, so Regulatory Posture carries 15 points of the composite. If this regime is wrong for your business, say so on your provider repo — the applicability map is public and we will correct it.
The six quality facets above are damped to 85 points between them, because the conditional facet above carries the other 15. That is why each facet's contribution is shown against a damped maximum: raising a quality facet moves the composite by 85% of its nominal weight, not 100%. The full arithmetic is at apis.io/rating/.
Improve this rating by publishing the missing artifacts — every area above can be raised, and the full rubric is at apis.io/rating/.
