Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI)
OCPI is the protocol that lets electric-vehicle charging networks roam. It defines how a charge point operator and an e-mobility service provider exchange location and tariff data, authorize a session, and settle the charge detail record afterwards, so a driver with one account can charge on another operator’s network. Governed by the EVRoaming Foundation, it is the interconnect layer above OCPP’s device protocol.
Also known as Open Charge Point Interface, EVRoaming OCPI.
Providers that carry OCPI 13
These providers' own APIs.json profiles carry OCPI as a tag — the provider's statement that the standard is part of what it does. APIs.io has not verified the implementation on this page; the de facto profiles on this site are where that measurement exists. Ordered by Kin Score.
Read from the API Evangelist standards directory, facts verified 2026-08-17. Provider links come from the catalog's own identity tags and are rebuilt nightly. If this page is wrong about a standard or a provider, say so.
