IATA New Distribution Capability (NDC)
NDC is IATA’s XML messaging standard for airline retailing — the specification meant to let an airline offer, sell and service its own content directly to any seller, rather than through the fare and availability messages a Global Distribution System carries. It defines the offer and order lifecycle (AirShopping, OfferPrice, OrderCreate, OrderChange) and is versioned by schema release. IATA operates a certification programme on top of it, from entry-level conformance up to NDC@Scale.
Also known as NDC, New Distribution Capability, IATA Resolution 787, EDIST, NDC@Scale.
Providers that carry IATA NDC 17
These providers' own APIs.json profiles carry IATA NDC as a tag — the provider's statement that the standard is part of what it does. APIs.io has not verified the implementation on this page; the de facto profiles on this site are where that measurement exists. Ordered by Kin Score.
Read from the API Evangelist standards directory, facts verified 2026-08-17. Provider links come from the catalog's own identity tags and are rebuilt nightly. If this page is wrong about a standard or a provider, say so.
