Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP)

OCPP is the open protocol between an electric-vehicle charging station and the network that operates it — the link that lets a charge point from one manufacturer be run by any management system. Version 1.6J uses JSON over WebSocket and remains the deployed majority; version 2.0.1 adds device management, smart charging and ISO 15118 plug-and-charge support. It is published by the Open Charge Alliance, which also runs conformance certification.

Providers that carry OCPP 8

These providers' own APIs.json profiles carry OCPP as a tag — the provider's statement that the standard is part of what it does. APIs.io has not verified the implementation on this page; the de facto profiles on this site are where that measurement exists. Ordered by Kin Score.

Read from the API Evangelist standards directory. Provider links come from the catalog's own identity tags and are rebuilt nightly. If this page is wrong about a standard or a provider, say so.
