NPP and PayTo (Australia)

The New Payments Platform is Australia’s real-time account-to-account payment infrastructure, operated by NPP Australia, carrying data-rich ISO 20022 messages and addressable PayID identifiers. PayTo is the overlay service that replaces direct debit with a digital, customer-authorised payment agreement visible in the payer’s banking app.
