GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification)
GTFS is the open specification for publishing public transport schedules and geographic information as a set of plain CSV files in a zip archive. GTFS Schedule covers static timetables, stops, routes and fares; GTFS Realtime covers live arrivals, vehicle positions and service alerts; and a ticketing extension adds identifiers and deep links that let a third party sell the trip.
Also known as General Transit Feed Specification, Google Transit Feed Specification, GTFS Schedule, GTFS Realtime.
Providers that carry GTFS 10
These providers' own APIs.json profiles carry GTFS as a tag — the provider's statement that the standard is part of what it does. APIs.io has not verified the implementation on this page; the de facto profiles on this site are where that measurement exists. Ordered by Kin Score.
Read from the API Evangelist standards directory, facts verified 2026-08-17. Provider links come from the catalog's own identity tags and are rebuilt nightly. If this page is wrong about a standard or a provider, say so.
