Zapier operates an official hosted (remote) MCP server that connects MCP-aware clients (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Kiro, Microsoft Copilot Studio) to Zapier's 9,000+ app integrations and 40,000+ actions over the open Model Context Protocol. The server exposes meta-tools for dynamic tool discovery immediately, and any configured Zapier action is surfaced as a dedicated MCP tool. Authenticated with OAuth 2.0 (RFC 8414 authorization server https://mcp.zapier.com) for multi-user apps, or a connection token / API key for personal use.

Connect

This is a remote MCP server — point an MCP client at the endpoint URL. Clients with native remote support (Claude, Cursor, VS Code, …):

If the server requires authentication, add the provider's token/header (e.g. an X-API-Key) per its docs. A quick reachability check:
