Balance announced a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for B2B agentic commerce, in closed beta at the time of capture. It lets LLMs and AI agents interact with Balance's APIs to get secure, conversational access to payments, credit, and accounts-receivable data. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open protocol Anthropic introduced for connecting LLM-based agents to external tools and data sources.
