MAI Pixel Event Payload

Request body accepted by POST https://pixel.mai.co/api/collect. Transcribed from the first-party TypeScript declarations published in npm @mai-co/pixel@1.0.5 (dist/types.d.ts, interface EventPayload) and the event parameter interfaces in the same file. MAI publishes no OpenAPI or JSON Schema of its own; this is an API Evangelist transcription of MAI's own published types, not a MAI artifact.

Properties

Name	Type	Description
event_id	string	UUID v4 generated per event, client-side. Serves as the de-duplication key across the SDK's 3-attempt retry ladder.
event_name	string	Name of the emitted event.
event_timestamp	string	ISO 8601 timestamp of client-side emission.
seq	integer	Monotonically increasing sequence number within the session.
client_id	string	Anonymous client identifier; UUID v4 persisted in the _mai_cid cookie for 2 years.
customer	object	Customer identity, null until MaiPixel('setCustomer', ...) is called.
shop	object	Shop context, sourced from MaiConfig.
page	object	Page context, auto-collected from the browser.
traffic	object	UTM attribution, taken from the URL if present, otherwise from the mai_utm cookie (30-day window).
event_params	object	Flat key-value parameters for this event. The known shapes per event_name are given in $defs; arbitrary additional keys are explicitly permitted and are stored by MAI in a BigQuery event_params REPEAT
items	array	Line items. Present only for cart_viewed, search_submitted, collection_viewed, checkout_started and checkout_completed.
consent	object
pixel_version	string	SDK version string, formatted 'headless-', e.g. headless-1.0.5.
sdk_type	string	Always 'headless'. Distinguishes SDK events from MAI Web Pixel events.
attribute_change	object	Present only on _customer_attributes_changed events.
