Microsoft Quantum Rate Limits

Reconciled rate limits and quotas for Microsoft Azure Quantum. Rate-limiting at the Workspace REST API is governed by Azure Resource Manager throttling and per-workspace provider quotas. Hardware-level limits (per QPU queue depth, monthly HQC / AQT / QPU-hour caps) are enforced by each provider via Marketplace subscription metering, exposed through the Workspace `quotas` endpoint.

Microsoft Quantum Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Microsoft Azure Quantum on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

It captures 8 rate-limit definitions, measuring Azure Quantum Tokens (AQT), Hardware Quantum Credits (HQC), QPU and emulator execution-hour, and 10-millisecond job execution increments.

The profile also includes response codes documented for throttled, quotaExceeded, and forbidden.

Tagged areas include Quantum, Quotas, Rate Limiting, and Azure.
