Exponential backoff with jitter on 5xx — 1s, 2s, 4s, maximum 3-5 attempts. Documented for the Privacy API.
Batch preference
LiveRamp explicitly steers volume into batch calls rather than single-transaction calls, both for throughput and to reduce throttling risk.
