Yoco Plans Pricing
Yoco does not price API access itself - the developer platform, keys, test mode, and webhooks are free to use. Yoco makes money on a per-transaction processing fee. For the online payment gateway, the published rate is 2.95% (excluding VAT) per successful local card transaction, with no monthly fee, no setup fee, and no lock-in. After roughly three months of processing, Yoco may automatically lower a merchant's rate based on volume, and states that once a rate goes down it does not go back up. Merchants transacting above R200,000 per month can request custom rates against a merchant statement. In-person card machine rates differ and are sold separately. After ~3 months of processing, Yoco may automatically reduce the per-transaction rate based on the merchant's transaction volume. Once lowered, Yoco states the rate does not increase again.
