Tap Payments Plans Pricing

Tap Payments does not sell API access as a subscription. Pricing is transaction-based: there is no fee to sign up, get keys, and build against test mode, and merchants pay a per-transaction processing fee only on live payments. Headline rates commonly cited for the region are around 2.75% per transaction for local/standard cards and about 3.25% for international cards (plus any FX), with no monthly fee on standard onboarding; effective all-in cost varies by country, payment method (mada, KNET, Benefit, Visa, Mastercard, wallets), settlement configuration, and negotiated/enterprise terms. Exact rates are set per merchant during onboarding and are not reconciled here.

Test Mode (Developer) free

Full access to build and test the API against test keys (sk_test_...) with no fee and no live money movement. Requires only a dashboard account.

Live payment acceptance billed as a percentage fee per successful transaction, with no monthly fee on standard onboarding. Rate depends on country and payment method (local schemes such as mada, KNET, Benefit vs international cards and wallets). Requires a KYC-approved merchant account.
