Open Exchange Rates publishes simple monthly pricing tiers metered on API requests per month, with feature access and rate update frequency tiered by plan. A free-forever plan offers 1,000 requests/month with hourly updates and USD as the only base currency. Paid plans add more requests, faster updates, and features - all base currencies on Developer ($12/mo), time-series on Enterprise ($47/mo), currency conversion on Unlimited ($97/mo), and OHLC/bid-ask/spot data on custom VIP service levels. Annual billing gives two months free per year. Requests to currencies.json and usage.json are free and do not count against the quota; each day in a time-series query counts as one request.
