OpenClinica offers two editions. The Community Edition is free and open source (LGPL) and self-hostable, with the full EDC platform but no vendor support or services. The Enterprise Edition is a fully supported, hosted (SaaS) build with onboarding, validation, security, and SLAs, sold via contact-sales; published third-party listings put Enterprise starting around USD 1,000/month, with actual pricing scoped to studies, participants, sites, and support level. The REST API itself carries no separate fee - it is included with whichever edition you run. Exact Enterprise rates are not reconciled here.
