Brand API (Brandfetch) serves an AI Catalog
manifest at /.well-known/ard.json on brandfetch.com, declaring
12 agentic resources
that a discovery service can index without asking anyone’s permission.
Run against this exact body with the project’s own
conformance CLI.
Discovery path
ard.json
Served at /.well-known/ard.json — the path ARD v0.91 says a consumer MUST fetch.
Declared spec version
1.0
The specVersion in the manifest. 1.0 is current for the AI Catalog data model; anything lower is an earlier draft. ARD reads this field as transport-defined and ignores it.
Optional affordances missing. None of these break a client, but each one costs the publisher search relevance or verifiability.

What this manifest advertises
Brandfetch MCP Server
urn:air:brandfetch.com:server:mcp
Brandfetch over the Model Context Protocol, for Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Windsurf and any other MCP client. Streamable HTTP with OAuth; a dashboard-issued bearer token for clients without it.
“look up a company's logos and colors from my assistant”
“add a brand data MCP server to Cursor”
“find the logo and palette for a brand while I work”
Brand API
urn:air:brandfetch.com:api:brand
The full brand profile for any company in one call: logos in every format and theme, color palette, fonts, and firmographics. Looked up by domain, email, stock ticker, ISIN or crypto symbol.
LLM-ready semantic brand context for a domain: mission, positioning, voice, audience and style. Built for grounding an agent's output in how a brand actually presents itself.
A free logo CDN for any company: WebP, SVG, PNG and JPEG, in icon, logo and symbol variants, with light and dark theme variants. No credit card, no attribution link.
“give me an overview of Brandfetch for an AI agent”
Brandfetch API catalog
urn:air:brandfetch.com:catalog:api-catalog
The RFC 9727 API catalog: every public API as a linkset, each anchored on the URI an agent calls, with its OpenAPI description, reference documentation and status page.
“find the OpenAPI description for the Brandfetch APIs”
“which Brandfetch APIs exist and where are their docs”
Brandfetch Agent Skills index
urn:air:brandfetch.com:catalog:agent-skills
The Agent Skills discovery index: every skill Brandfetch publishes, each with the URL of its SKILL.md and a SHA-256 digest to verify the download against.
“verify the Brandfetch skill I downloaded is unmodified”
How it is served
The publishing guide asks for three things at the transport layer, because a crawler is the
consumer that matters and a crawler is a browser-shaped client.
HTTPS only — yes (HTTP 200)
Content-Type: application/json —
yes
Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * —
yes
Evidence. Fetched https://brandfetch.com/.well-known/ard.json on 2026-09-13, HTTP
200. The verbatim body is stored alongside its manifest in the
Brand API (Brandfetch) repository
as ai-catalog/brand-api-ai-catalog.json. Nothing on this page is derived
or generated: an AI Catalog manifest is served from the publisher’s own domain or it does not
exist, which makes it — like an
A2A Agent Card — one of the few agent artifacts that cannot be
produced on a provider’s behalf. Grades are recomputed on every build; the specification is a
v0.9 draft and
these verdicts will move when it does.
Every descriptor here is available over the APIs.io API and to AI agents over MCP. Agent Discovery is not yet its own endpoint on the v1 API. Reach it through catalog search and the tag graph, or the MCP server.
