Woolworths Group Authorization API

An authorization involves the bank’s approval of transactions that fall under a particular payment scheme. When you use a credit or scheme based debit card, the transaction request is sent to the card network (e.g., Visa, MasterCard), which then forwards it to the issuing bank for authorization. The bank checks for sufficient funds or credit and then sends an approval or decline message back through the network.
