The university's Microsoft Entra ID tenant, 220f5dc3-9452-48e5-9b4f-888df42f7a2d, is the identity source behind both the uowidp OpenID Connect provider and the eLearn Moodle SAML login. Verified live 2026-09-01: the tenant OpenID configuration returns HTTP 200 with issuer https://login.microsoftonline.com/220f5dc3-9452-48e5-9b4f-888df42f7a2d/v2.0, tenant_region_scope OC; the WS-Federation/SAML 2.0 federation metadata returns HTTP 200 and 28,441 bytes; and an unauthenticated request to elearn.waikato.ac.nz redirects to the tenant's saml2 endpoint with a signed RSA-SHA256 AuthnRequest. The tenant is the institution's; the platform and its contract are Microsoft's, and nothing is saved here under Waikato's slug for it.
