UC Engineering GitLab API

Self-hosted GitLab instance operated by the University of Canterbury College of Engineering on the institution's own domain. Re-verified 2026-08-30: the web application redirects to /users/sign_in with HTTP 200 and the GitLab REST API v4 returns HTTP 401 to unauthenticated calls — an authentication-gated GitLab API, not a public one. The API contract is GitLab's; the deployment, the code it holds and the accounts on it are the institution's.
