IRIS is the university's current research information system and publication catalogue, reachable at cris.unibo.it. The host is a vanity name on the university's domain but it is NOT university-run infrastructure — cris.unibo.it CNAMEs to unibo.prod.iris.cineca.it, then to fallback-iris-prod.cineca.it and on into Cloudflare. IRIS is DSpace-CRIS supplied to the Italian university system by CINECA, so this is recorded as a tenancy: the research metadata, the deployment identity and the DOIs are the University of Bologna's; the software and the API contract are CINECA's and belong in CINECA's own repo, not here. The tenancy is real and live — https://cris.unibo.it/oai/request?verb=Identify returns 200 with repositoryName "IRIS - UNIBO - prod", protocolVersion 2.0, adminEmail artec.valutazione@unibo.it, earliestDatestamp 2015-07-23T10:59:05Z, and verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=oai_dc returns 342,926 bytes of real records. The DSpace REST API on the same host is closed — https://cris.unibo.it/rest/api returns "HTTP Status 401 - Invalid basic authentication token".
