UC San Diego Shibboleth Identity Provider (InCommon / eduGAIN)

UC San Diego's SAML 2.0 identity provider, "TritON", registered in the InCommon Federation under entityID urn:mace:incommon:ucsd.edu and distributed through the InCommon MDQ metadata service. The metadata is complete, public and machine-readable — organization name, validity window, certificates and SingleSignOnService bindings at https://a5.ucsd.edu/tritON/profile/SAML2/{POST,Redirect}/SSO. Institution-operated by definition and, in practice, the only fully open machine-readable contract UC San Diego publishes. It satisfies the education regime's `saml` and `shibboleth` domain standards.
