Symbio is Trane's portfolio of digital equipment controllers (chillers, rooftop units, air handlers) providing remote monitoring, diagnostics, and connectivity. Symbio communicates over BACnet (MS/TP, IP, Zigbee), Modbus (client and server), and Air-Fi wireless, and integrates upstream into Trane Connect and Tracer SC+ rather than via a public REST API.
