Tel Aviv University's current research information system is Elsevier Pure, published as the TAU Research Portal at cris.tau.ac.il. The host sits on TAU's own registrable domain but CNAMEs to telaviv.elsevierpure.com and then to eu.prod.elsevierpure.com, and the deployment does not self-identify as TAU: Identify returns repositoryName "Pure OAI Repository" with adminEmail purehosted@elsevier.com, earliestDatestamp 2020-03-22. That makes it a hosted vendor deployment under the institution's name — a tenant relationship — rather than an institution-operated service. The OAI-PMH endpoint itself is live and keyless (verified 2026-08-30) and serves seven metadata prefixes (oai_dc, qdc, mods, mods_swepub, nl_didl, xmetadiss, uketd_dc) across persons:all, publications:all and per-year sets. The companion Pure Web Service at cris.tau.ac.il/ws/api is gated — it returns HTTP 401 "Please provide a valid API key" — and its contract is Elsevier's, so no Pure specification is stored here.
