KITopen OAI-PMH Interface
KITopen is KIT's central open-access institutional repository for the bibliographic data, full texts, images, research data and AV media of KIT scientists. It is built on dbkit, the web application framework the KIT Library wrote and operates itself, and exposes an OAI-PMH 2.0 metadata-harvesting interface on KIT's own domain. Verified 2026-09-01: verb=Identify returns repositoryName "KITopen", protocolVersion 2.0, granularity YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ssZ, deletedRecord "transient", earliestDatestamp 1999-01-27T00:00:00Z, adminEmail dbkit@bibliothek.kit.edu and repositoryIdentifier EVASTAR-Karlsruhe.de. verb=ListMetadataFormats advertises three prefixes (oai_dc, epicur, oai_datacite) and verb=ListSets serves a set hierarchy including open_access, openaire, openaire_data, dnb:dissertations and twenty document-type sets. Bibliographic metadata is published under CC0. This is the one surface in this repository that is unambiguously KIT's own engineering.
