Copernicus Marine WMTS API

The Copernicus Marine Web Map Tile Service (WMTS) is an OGC-compliant REST API for visualizing ocean data as raster map tiles. It supports GetCapabilities to discover available datasets and layers, GetTile to retrieve cached image tiles in JPEG or PNG format, GetLegend to obtain dynamic map legends in SVG or JSON, and GetFeatureInfo to query pixel-level data values at specific geographic locations. Tiles are served in Web Mercator (EPSG:3857), WGS 84 (EPSG:4326), and polar projections. Temporal and depth dimensions are supported via TIME and ELEVATION parameters. The service is fully OGC WMTS 1.0.0 compliant and INSPIRE conformant. No authentication is required for tile access.
