Yardi Vocabulary is a controlled vocabulary published by Yardi on the APIs.io network, defining 15 terms.

Defined terms include Voyager, Interface Partnership Program, Interface License, SOAP Web Service, and YardiPropertyId.

A controlled vocabulary pins the words an API’s schemas, parameters and documentation use to one agreed definition each — the shared language a human or an agent needs to read the API the same way its authors do.

Terms

Voyager
Yardi's core cloud-based real estate management platform for all property types. Formerly desktop-based, now a web-based system used by property managers, accountants, and asset managers.
Interface Partnership Program
Yardi's program for certifying third-party vendors to integrate with Yardi systems. Partners receive interface licenses and access to documented web service operations.
Interface License
A license key issued by Yardi to certified interface partners, required as an authentication parameter in all API calls.
SOAP Web Service
Yardi's primary integration mechanism using SOAP-based XML web services over HTTP. Each interface module (e.g., ItfCommonData, ItfVendorInvoice) is a separate ASMX endpoint.
YardiPropertyId
A unique alphanumeric identifier for a property within a Yardi database. Required for all property-scoped API calls.
ItfCommonData
The Yardi web service interface providing common property management data including properties, units, tenants, and chart of accounts.
