Instabug (Luciq) Vocabulary is a controlled vocabulary published by Instabug (Luciq) on the APIs.io network, defining 22 terms.
Defined terms include Application, Crash, Crash Pattern, Occurrence, and App Hang.
A controlled vocabulary pins the words an API’s schemas, parameters and documentation use to one agreed definition each — the shared language a human or an agent needs to read the API the same way its authors do.
Terms
Application
A mobile app registered with Luciq, identified by a stable slug and an application token; the root scoping primitive for every other entity.
Crash
A group of similar crash occurrences within an application. Carries occurrence frequency, affected user count, severity, status, cause hints, and environmental scope.
Crash Pattern
Aggregation of crash occurrences by a pivot key — devices, OSes, app_versions, current_views, app_status, or experiments — to reveal concentration.
Occurrence
A single instance of a crash captured on one device/session, identified by a ULID and carrying full per-occurrence context (device, OS, memory, storage, app status, user, log URL).
App Hang
A grouped UI freeze (non-fatal UI thread block) event for an application. Tracked similar to crashes with duration, frequency, and scope.
Bug Report
A user-reported bug submitted through the Luciq SDK in-app reporter. Carries reporter contact, categories/tags, environment, console log, user step breadcrumbs, and attachments for reproduction.
Review
An app review captured through a store, native, or custom prompt and surfaced via the Luciq MCP Server.
Session
A user app session. Entitlement is denominated at 180 sessions/month per 1 DAU.
Frustration-Free Session
A Luciq composite score measuring sessions free of crashes, hangs, and other user-facing frustrations.
DAU (Daily Active User)
Luciq's primary billing dimension; pricing is "priced on DAU and Seats."
Detect Agent
AI agent that surfaces visual issues and broken functionality from session data.
Resolve Agent
AI agent that ties source code (via GitHub) to issues, runs the AI Debugging Assistant, and proposes fixes.
Release Agent
AI agent that reviews PRs and manages release health.
MCP Tool
An agent-callable operation exposed by the Luciq MCP Server (10 read-only tools covering applications, crashes, occurrences, hangs, bugs, reviews).
Webhook
An outbound HTTP POST delivery of a Bug, Crash, or APM event to a customer callback URL, signed with HMAC-SHA256 via the x-ibg-signature-256 header.
SmartResolve
Luciq's automated remediation feature that combines root cause analysis with PR generation against connected repositories.
One-Code App
Luciq's pattern for a single app binary that ships to multiple brands or regions; tracked as logically distinct apps in the dashboard.
Flow
A user-defined APM trace that wraps a sequence of operations for end-to-end performance measurement (Flows Apdex).
Repro Step
A breadcrumb captured by the SDK (taps, screen views, network calls) used to reproduce bugs and crashes.
Symbolication
The process of mapping crash stack frames back to source symbol names; iOS dSYM and Android mapping/deobfuscation upload flows.
SDK Token
The application-specific token embedded in the mobile SDK to identify which Luciq app a payload belongs to.
Personal Access Token (PAT)
A long-lived MCP credential generated from the Luciq dashboard for CI and automation use cases.
