Linked Data Platform (LDP 1.0)

W3C’s 2015 Recommendation for reading and writing resources over plain HTTP. LDP defines containers that behave like directories, creates members with POST, writes with PUT and PATCH, requires ETag preconditions on updates, and treats non-RDF resources — files — as first-class members. It is the standards-track answer to “a file system over HTTP” that most people have never heard of, and the foundation Solid builds on.

Providers that carry Linked Data Platform 0

No provider in the catalog carries this standard as a tag yet. That is a statement about the catalog's tagging, not about adoption: a provider that implements Linked Data Platform and says so in its APIs.json profile appears here on the next build. Add or correct a listing.

Read from the API Evangelist standards directory, facts verified 2026-10-07. Provider links come from the catalog's own identity tags and are rebuilt nightly. If this page is wrong about a standard or a provider, say so.
