cXML (Commerce XML)
cXML is an XML-based protocol for business-to-business procurement transactions — purchase orders, order confirmations, invoices, and the PunchOut session that hands a buyer into a supplier’s catalog and returns a filled cart. Created by Ariba in 1999, it remains the dominant integration format between e-procurement suites and their suppliers.
Also known as Commerce XML, Ariba cXML.
Providers that carry cXML 2
These providers' own APIs.json profiles carry cXML as a tag — the provider's statement that the standard is part of what it does. APIs.io has not verified the implementation on this page; the de facto profiles on this site are where that measurement exists. Ordered by Kin Score.
Read from the API Evangelist standards directory. Provider links come from the catalog's own identity tags and are rebuilt nightly. If this page is wrong about a standard or a provider, say so.
