Upway UCP Commerce MCP Server

Upway's storefront exposes a live, anonymous Model Context Protocol endpoint at https://upway.co/api/ucp/mcp, advertised from https://upway.co/llms.txt and https://upway.co/agents.md and discoverable from the UCP merchant profile at https://upway.co/.well-known/ucp. An unauthenticated JSON-RPC tools/list returned HTTP 200 with 13 tools and full JSON Schema 2020-12 inputSchemas, saved verbatim to mcp/upway-mcp-tools.json. The server implements the Universal Commerce Protocol (ucp.dev) shopping service, version 2026-08-25.

search_catalog — Search for products from the online store, hosted on Shopify.
lookup_catalog — Look up multiple products or variants by identifier.
get_product — Retrieve complete product detail by identifier. Returns a singular product.
create_cart — Creates a new cart.
get_cart — Get the cart contents.
update_cart — Perform updates to a cart.
cancel_cart — Cancels a cart.
create_checkout — Creates a checkout. Returns line items, totals, discounts and taxes.
get_checkout — Returns details about the checkout, including line items, totals, discounts and taxes.
update_checkout — Updates a checkout.
complete_checkout — Completes a checkout and returns the checkout result, including order ID. Requires meta.idempotency-key. Buyer approval is mandatory before payment.
cancel_checkout — Cancels a checkout.
get_order — Get the details of an order.
