temp.md
temp.md ships the same MCP server two ways: a hosted Streamable HTTP endpoint at https://api.temp.md/mcp that any MCP client can POST to with no credential (anonymous publishing), and a local stdio package (npx -y @tempmd/mcp) for filesystem access and the larger 50 MiB / 100-file bundle. The remote transport caps inline bundles at 10 MiB and 20 files (limits.json remoteMcp). An optional Authorization: Bearer tempmd_key_... on the connection turns on account-owned publishing, list_temps and recover_update_token.
One-click install for Cursor, VS Code, Claude, and 20+ other MCP clients, powered by API Commons MCP Install — visit install.apicommons.org for more information.

Connect
This is a remote MCP server — point an MCP client at the endpoint URL. Clients with native remote support (Claude, Cursor, VS Code, …):
For stdio-only clients (older Claude Desktop, etc.), bridge with mcp-remote:
If the server requires authentication, add the provider's token/header (e.g. an X-API-Key) per its docs. A quick reachability check:
Tools
publish_temp— Publish an inline text or base64 bundle to a stable public URL. Send index.html as the main page. Repeated identical calls are idempotent. If the MCP connection uses a temp.md account API key, the Temp is owned by that account immediately.update_temp— Replace a Temp's bundle behind the same canonical URL.get_temp_status— Check lifecycle and restore eligibility.restore_temp— Bring a recently expired Temp back at the same URL.snapshot_temp— Freeze the current version as a fixed reference.set_comments— Toggle pinned visitor comments.list_temps— List local project records (stdio) or account-owned Temps (remote, requires account API key).recover_update_token— Rotate and recover a lost scoped update token (requires account API key).
About MCP
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open protocol Anthropic introduced for connecting LLM-based agents to external tools and data sources. Providers publish MCP servers that expose their API surface as structured, discoverable tools — an MCP-compatible client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, Continue, etc.) can connect to the server and call its tools without any per-provider integration code.
Browse every MCP server on the APIs.io network or compare with the broader Agent Skill surfaces of the same providers.
Work with this as data
Every MCP server here is available over the APIs.io API and to AI agents over MCP.
