Open Explorer MCP Server
Horizon Robotics' hosted Model Context Protocol server for the OpenExplorer (OE) toolchain. It gives a coding agent semantic retrieval over Horizon's indexed codebases (Milvus-backed) and the Horizon documentation library, so an agent can locate an implementation, a configuration entry point or a manual passage before it acts. Advertised by Horizon Robotics in the install instructions of its own OE-Skills repository.

search_code— Search indexed codebases in Milvus using natural language queries. You can optionally provide a search scope. When scope is provided, only the specified indexed collections/codebases will be searched. Use list_codebases first if you need to know which codebases are currently indexed.list_codebases— List the codebases that are currently indexed in Milvus. The result is determined from indexed collection names. Use this tool before search_code if you need to know valid scope values.search_doc— Search Horizon-related document snippets by natural language query, including manuals, guides, references, and relevant passages. Use document library path `oe_doc` by default. Only provide `path` when you need to search a different library. Optional `version` selects the OE documentation version to search (e.g. "3.10.0", "3.9.1"); omit it to use the default version (3.10.0). Registered versions: 3.10.0, 3.9.1, 3.8.1, 3.7.1.1. Default: 3.10.0. Do not provide `filters` unless you explicitly need constraints such as version.list_oe_versions— List the registered OE documentation versions available for search_doc/get_doc, newest first, including the default version.get_doc— Get the full content overview of a required document by docId, typically after search_doc returns a docId and the user wants the full document. Optional `version` must match the version used in the preceding search_doc call so the docId resolves within the same version's library.
