Fabric Origin MCP Servers
Fabric publishes two hosted Model Context Protocol servers inside the Origin product family: Origin Studio MCP (metadata records, catalog operations, availability) and Origin Insights MCP (streaming availability, pricing and plans, demand, Pay TV, consumer surveys). Both are remote Streamable HTTP endpoints that implement the MCP authorization specification, and both were probed directly: an unauthenticated tools/list returns a standards-compliant 401 challenge, and both serve anonymous RFC 8414 authorization-server metadata and RFC 9728 protected-resource metadata. A third Fabric MCP server, Xytech X2, belongs to the Xytech product family and is recorded here only as a sibling, not as an Origin surface.

About MCP
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open protocol Anthropic introduced for connecting LLM-based agents to external tools and data sources. Providers publish MCP servers that expose their API surface as structured, discoverable tools — an MCP-compatible client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, Continue, etc.) can connect to the server and call its tools without any per-provider integration code.
Browse every MCP server on the APIs.io network or compare with the broader Agent Skill surfaces of the same providers.
Work with this as data
Every MCP server here is available over the APIs.io API and to AI agents over MCP.
