CTERA publishes two official, open-source (Apache-2.0) Model Context Protocol servers that give AI agents file-and-folder management over the CTERA Intelligent Data Platform: one for the CTERA Portal (global namespace) and one for the CTERA Edge Filer. Both run locally via the uv runtime with stdio or SSE transport, or as a Docker container, and authenticate with CTERA credentials passed as environment variables.
