2s ships the same MCP server two ways. HOSTED: https://2s.io/mcp — the apex host that also serves the website, the OpenAPI and the A2A endpoint — is POST-only Streamable HTTP (a GET returns 405 with a JSON-RPC error "This MCP endpoint is POST-only (no SSE stream)"), speaks protocol version 2025-06-18, identifies itself as serverInfo {name: 2s.io, version: 1.0.0}, and answers initialize and tools/list anonymously with 575 tools, each carrying a real inputSchema; resources/list and prompts/list return -32601 Method not found. LOCAL: npm @2sio/mcp (npx -y @2sio/mcp, stdio) exposes the same catalog from the caller's own machine, which the provider's own docs recommend over the hosted server because the hosted signer needs the caller's EVM private key in a request header. The provider also publishes an MCP server card at /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json (SEP-1649 shape; 575 tools, authentication schemes ["x402"]). Tool names are the spec's x-2s-id values (group.name, e.g. weather.zip) and map 1:1 onto the 575 OpenAPI operationIds (group_name), so authorship is not in question — this is a provider-built server over the provider's own contract, not a platform-generated surface.
