Name Type Description
resource_id string Unique identifier assigned by Solcast when a site is registered.
name string User-defined name for the PV site (does not need to be unique).
latitude number Site latitude in decimal degrees (north positive).
longitude number Site longitude in decimal degrees (east positive).
capacity number DC system capacity in kilowatts (kW).
tilt number Panel tilt angle in degrees from horizontal (0 = flat, 90 = vertical).
azimuth number Panel azimuth in degrees clockwise from north (0/360 = north, 90 = east, 180 = south, 270 = west).
install_date string Date the PV system was installed (YYYY-MM-DD).
ac_capacity number AC inverter output capacity in kilowatts (kW).
dc_capacity number DC array capacity in kilowatts (kW). May differ from capacity if clipping occurs.
loss_factor number System loss factor as a fraction (0–1). Accounts for wiring, soiling, degradation, and other losses. Typical values 0.75–0.95.
tracking_type string Panel tracking mechanism type.
created_at string Timestamp when the site was registered in Solcast.
updated_at string Timestamp when the site was last modified.
